Join us for an evening with Grant, a versatile saxophonist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose passion for music began in middle school. After earning his Bachelor’s in Jazz Studies in 2020, Grant quickly became Tallahassee’s top-call saxophonist, performing small-group jazz and leading funk horn sections for popular acts like Tallahassee Nights Live, Bay Kings, and Seep’s Gumbo Madness. In 2023, Grant relocated to Austin, TX to immerse himself in the city’s vibrant jazz scene and now teaches at Huston-Tillotson University, where he leads jazz combos, improvisation, and music appreciation courses. Since moving, he has become a fixture at Austin’s premier Jazz venues, performing alongside acclaimed artists including Andre Hayward, Michael Hale, Mac Macintosh, Jeremy George, Brian Pardo, and Daniel Dufour. With dynamic energy and soulful artistry, Grant delivers a performance that is both captivating and full of heart—an experience you won’t want to miss!
