Chris Villanueva returns leading a quartet with his Latin Fusion project blending Jazz, Blues , RNB and Other Latin influences. As a distinguished professor of Jazz studies at UTSA college, Chris is a seasoned and highly sought-after pianist across the state. In addition to his band work, teaching and freelancing, Villanueva finds solace in studio work, lending his exceptional talents as a keyboardist, arranger and producer to over 50 recording projects. His remarkable contributions were recognized by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2018, as he was acknowledged as a Co-Arranger and Keyboardist for his involvement in a Grammy award-winning project. Chris Villanueva's unwavering passion for music have earned him a well- deserved reputation as a respected figure in the jazz community and With each captivating performance and endeavor, he continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of music.
