Kirill Poudavoff is a on the rise respected tenor saxophonist drawing inspiration from Dexter Gordon and Aubra Graves. Having performed with the likes of Neal Smith, Nat Reeves, and Rick Germanson, Poudavoff is paving his own path in the straight-ahead, hard-bop idiom, preserving the American tradition. "Channeling Dexter amazingly...But with his own voice. Nobody plays like that anymore." Introduced to music by his father Alexander around 2005, Kirill switched over to the tenor saxophone at 10. One of his early collaborations, "Fly Me to the Moon" with his father, gained significant traction on YouTube, with over 2.5 million views. With a Bachelor’s Degree from Berklee College Of Music, Kirill is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at the University of North Texas under the guidance of Mr. Brad Leali.
